LOBBY: Guests were treated to a great visual surprise when they entered the lobby. Mac MacDonald provided a striking display of uniforms from all branches of the military through history, Veterans groups had tables with information, a beautiful quilt was auctioned off as a benefit for the Oregon Veteran's Home, and donated flag pins were given out to every person who attended.
 
EVENT TEAM: While guests were enjoying the lobby displays and hospitality of the House Team, the Production & Technical Teams were hard at work, preparing for the event. GUESTS IN ATTENDANCE: Guests at the event included war heroes and special individuals holding an important place in U.S. history. Left column, top to bottom: Gus Smoorenburg of the Dutch resistance, who greatly helped U.S. forces fight the Germans in WWII with two daughters of Sojourn band members; Korean war Veterans, who helped secure freedom for the South Korean people. Middle column: Howard Ramsey, one of only 30 living WWI Veterans. Right column, top to bottom: Nisei Veteran Kennie Namba who served with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 100th Battalion during World War II; four members of the 442nd, the most highly decorated unit of its size and duration in U.S. history.
     
POST-EVENT DINNER: After the event, guests speakers and the core event team enjoyed dinner together at a local restaurant. Sojourn Productions was formed in 2002 to create music and events that have a profound impact on audiences.
